Serenity In His Arms
“Serenity in His Arms” is a woman’s devotional exploring themes of belonging, finding purpose in life, and learning to be content with God, instead of searching the world for answers. Through a unique structure of a free verse poem, a lesson, Scripture reference, and then a reflection for the reader to apply, readers have a chance to grow closer to Christ. Women are searching for answers, and “Serenity in His Arms” is a tool to show women that Jesus holds all of those answers.
Serenity in His Arms is a women’s devotional that confronts the real issues that Christian women face in their day to day life. Whether it’s insecurities in faith, not hearing the Lord’s voice, or being unsure of the plan God has, Serenity in His Arms gives women Scripture and encouragement to face these challenges.
Through 56 entries, readers are given a poem, verses, and a response to help them center their day onto Christ. Annabelle has written these poems based on the ways God shows her His love throughout her life— in nature, her family, and His voice in her life.
This collection is just a small tool to help women grasp hold of hope among the day to day struggles we all face, and give them a community of support to remind them that we are all always striving to learn more about our God.
