My Dear Bella

When Jesse Cabell realizes his feelings for Bella, he feels like his life is going to change forever.  So, as writers do, Jesse spends years writing a book to show her how all along their love for each other was always there. They are meant for a life together in Boston brownstones as each others’ muses. But he starts to realize that he might live with the regret of what they could have been, all because he was too scared to tell her it should have always been him.

Jesse Cabell has never thought much of romance. He’s gone through the motions, and taken the privileged life his father provided for him. He’s going to Harvard, he’s on the football team, and there’s a job waiting for him at his father’s publishing house right after all of this back in New York City. But when Jesse stumbles into Bella Fulton, everything changes. His new dream is a life in Boston with Bella where the two of them can write their books, and fall hopelessly in love. So, Jesse does what the best of writers do— he writes Bella a book. He recounts every moment that made him fall for her, from late nights on the cobblestone streets of Boston, to mornings spent reading together at Brick House Coffee. He’s always waiting, and sure that she will see that it was always him. But what do you do if you wait too long? If it really is true love, will Jesse win her over in the end? Or will he learn his lesson, and walk away with his heart still in her hands, broken in two?

“You, my reader, get to witness our epic love story and its ups and downs. You will soon love her as much as I do. She romanticizes her life as if it is a novel in itself, and if it were, I would read it over and over.”

“I’ll leave you with this disclaimer; as you read this, please don’t fall in love with her, I cannot fight another for her affection.” -Jesse
